About Us

The MPS Office of Communications supports district administrators and the Board of Education communication-related decisions and actions. The office is responsible for developing, directing, and assisting with the following:

  • communication for both internal and external audiences, including community, government, and media relations;
  • crisis communication and mass notification;
  • website and social media management;
  • news releases, newsletters, and marketing materials;
  • brand standards; and
  • requests for information.

Requests: Media Visits & Public Records

  • Thank you for your interest in visiting Middletown Public Schools. The District of Middletown Public Schools (MPS) takes great pride in sharing the accomplishments of our students with our community!

    If your request is being submitted more than 72 hours in advance of the visit, please complete the media visit request form below. The benefit to completing this form 72+ hours in advance of your visit helps us to ensure we have students and staff who can be filmed/photographed.

  • To submit a public records/FOIA request, please complete this form.

    Please note that if you desire to receive the hard copies of the requested records, you will be charged $0.25 per page. Payments can be made in the form of check, money order, or cash. Please make checks and money orders payable to Middletown Public Schools. We do not charge for electronic documents.
